Music and dancing mark the beginning of Fiesta in the sleepy Mexican village of Adios. The townsfolk gather in the courtyard of the cantina to watch the fireworks display and wile away the hours. In the darkness and noise, Senorita Margarita Spencer is fatally stabbed. Recently widowed, the beautiful and charismatic Margarita had returned to the village of her birth to invest her multi-million dollar inheritance and develop Adios into a world class resort. Not everyone was excited about her return - someone's temper has been ignited and tonight fireworks won't be the only sparks that fly.
