Sample Three Day Itinerary

. Arriving from work on Friday afternoon, check in at the White Rose Inns and tour our historic houses with a staff member.

Enjoy a casual night at the B&B with a picnic of a Midnight Snack basket of gourmet goodies and a bottle of wine.

. Spend the evening unwinding in a luxurious whirlpool, and snuggling up to watch a movie from our library.

. On Saturday morning, sleep in a little - we serve breakfast until ten. Or, if you're up early, enjoy your morning coffee on the porch overlooking the river.

. Loosen up with a couple of hour-long massages (mmm.), then, feeling like a noodle, cross the street for a late lunch at the River Walk Pub.

. From the pub, stroll along the scenic RiverWalk as it wanders along the river and two blocks later ends up downtown. Discover some wonderful gift shops, antique stores, haunted houses and fudge 'factories'.

. Take an hour or so to explore the H.H. Bennett museum.  Bennett, a landscape photographer, inventor & promoter, was the man who made Wisconsin Dells famous. Your tour of the Bennett's 1875 photography studio has lots of interactive exhibits.

. One block from the Bennett History Center is Ripley's Believe It Or Not, a museum full of intriguing oddities.

. Head one block off the main street to the St Vincent de Paul's thrift store to pull together a 'fancy' costume for tonight's Murder Mystery dinner party (with costume ideas from your hostess).

. Return to the inn to freshen up and get dressed for a four-course dinner and a super-sleuthing game in which you are one of the suspects.

. Sunday morning in a B&B.ahhh. After another relaxing morning and a scrumptious breakfast, check out of the White Rose Inns and enjoy some outdoor pursuits. Grab the reins of a faithful steed and ride the trails or hike a couple of trails in the magnificent Mirror Lake State Park.

. Or head south along scenic County Highway A to neighboring Baraboo, home of the Ringling Brothers' Circus World Museum which has hundreds of restored circus wagons and other fascinating circus paraphernalia.

. Saunter the sidewalks in the historic downtown and discover intriguing shops, galleries and an old-fashioned soda fountain.

. For a tasty lunch, stop at one of Baraboo's three incredible cafés - the Little Village Café, the Garden Party Café, and the Java Café all located on the square.

. If you have time, don't miss Devil's Lake State Park
 - a glacial lake resting between two high bluffs. Make a short hike to the top of a bluff and get an awesome hawk's eye view of the park and surrounding countryside.
