MEETINGS
March Meetings Made Manageable
Resorts tout the importance of having the latest and greatest in recreational offerings, but how important are those amenities to meeting attendees? MeetingNews surveyed 449 corporate and association planners to find what their attendees actually use and which activities are important to them.
When planners were asked whether particular activities have grown more popular, stayed the same, or become less popular over the past few years, the only major change was with spas. Other activities - cultural attractions, golf, outdoor sports, shopping and the beach - stayed nearly the same, but spas were considered more popular by 42 percent of respondents. The planners MeetingNews spoke with do not incorporate spa time as a part of organized event activities, primarily because of cost or group size, and say that while attendees may visit the spa, no one requests it as a scheduled recreation.
At the White Rose Inns, meeting-goers discover meetings can be delightful and easy. A dedicated meeting planner arranges presentation amenities to make everything run smoothly, as well as fresh, invigorating snacks and meals for break time. Whatever kind of meeting's on your agenda, let the White Rose Inns organize for you your business needs.

Despite saying ‘I do' at the alter most couples say ‘I don't' after tying the knot, with over 60% admitting that they didn't consummate their marriage on their wedding night, according to a recent survey of Britons.
Over a quarter of newlywed couples blamed tiredness for their lack of wedding night lustfulness while 12% blamed alcohol consumption! A further 15% couldn't even remember getting into bed.
Well, you can always spend the whole next morning in bed recovering your pride! Honeymoon guestrooms (inspiration!)
